Welcome back to Bishy Barnabees Day Nursery.
We hope you had a fantastic Christmas and New Year.
The children are settling back in to nursery life after their long break.
Some parents may not be aware that we had Ofsted in for a visit last week, we were well over due. The report will take up to 15 days to be published, when this has happened we will print a copy for everyone to read.
Thank you to all the parents that stayed behind to talk to Ofsted.

Week Beginning 4.11.14
This week in the nursery the children will be doing lot’s of firework pictures and activities and making sparklers from bread sticks, chocolate and sprinkles.
Also so last week Becca in the Ladybird Room broke her elbow,she is at work soldiering on and we wish her a speedy recovery.
Gemma has now left us and we welcome Kayleigh-Anne into Ladybird Room and will be introduced to everyone over the come weeks.
During the month of October we will be having a visit from the Presma Teacher Sarah Davies which I’m sure the Ladybird Room with really enjoy.
Just to let everyone know Gemma will be leaving us at the end of October to further her career at another nursery , we wish her the very best of luck and thank her for all her hard work and dedication to our children.
We will be welcoming Francesca into the Ladybird Room where Tanya will be introducing her from next week (27.10.14)
Thank you to everyone that brought in bags of clothing for our Bags for school and Spree fundraisers, we are waiting to find out how well we done.
I’m sure the girls will enjoy buying some new equipment for the children to enjoy, I will let you know what the girls purchase.
Bishy Barnabees would like to welcome Sarah to the team, Sarah will be taking over from Cat in the Ladybird room.
Sarah is settling nicely into her new role and getting to know all the children and parents of the Ladybird Room.
Welcome back to Bishy Barnabees to all of those that have been away for the summer. We have lots planned for the next couple of weeks like a professional photographer coming in on the 30th October and different festivals/days to enjoy and celebrate like Diwali, Harvest festival, Apple day and Halloween. Parents consultations will be held the week before the October half term, a booking form will be out closer to the time.

Back to Nursery business, it will be Parents consultation week from the 11- 15 February , please book a slot convenient for yourself (slots available are on a form in the individual rooms) . This is a opportunity to catch up with your child’s key-person and to share information about your child’s development.
