Bishy Barnabees children have had a fabulous time trying Chinese foods for snack and making colourful lanterns to celebrate Chinese New Year.
I hope everyone had a fantastic Easter and those that aren’t at nursery are enjoying their long break.
Also welcome back Emma off maternity leave, Emma will mainly be in the Ladybird Room with Kayleigh and Hayley.
In case you haven’t heard Lea had a baby boy on the 11.02.16 @ 3.07pm weighing 7lb14oz called Oakley.

Back to nursery news, the children have been celebrating Chinese new year, pancake day and Valentines Day this month.

The children are all back with some lovely Christmas stories and raring to go.
The Christmas Nativity was a great success, well done to all the children and Tanya, Charlotte and Lea for all their hard work preparing for it.

The children have been enjoying the outdoors during the summer holidays, the Ladybird Room had a little trip out to the Obstacle course and the babies have been experiencing water play and playing in the garden.
The children have been lucky to watch the combine harvester and the baling machine in the surrounding fields, this have led to discussions about where their food comes from.
The children are hoping to visit the Mr Ellis’s farm soon to see the new piglets
This week at Bishy Barnabees the children will be celebrating Bastille Day the children can dress up as a french person if they choose to.
The children will also be tasting french food at snack time, painting french flags and making an Eiffel tower for their french display.
The Barnabee room will be having their leavers party on Thursday with lots of party food and a sports day being run by Sebastian’s mum Jenny.
Hi this is the lovely Seaside display the Ladybird children have been working hard on, hopefully the weather will be kind to us over the summer holidays to allow us some time at the beach.
This week at Bishy Barnabees the Ladybird Room will be making natural play-dough and playing in soapy slime.
In the Barnabee Room they have been practicing for their up coming sports day and playing with cloud dough.

This week in the nursery the children will be doing craft activities to celebrate Fathers Day at the weekend.
Both rooms have been working on their summer displays, so look out for your child’s work on display.
Don’t forget also its Consultation week next week so book in to see your child’s key person.

Last week in the nursery the children food activities, some cooking and some not. in the Barnabee Room the children made fruit kebabs and cheese straws and the Ladybird Room made bread.
A date for you diary, Parents Consultation week will be commencing 22nd June. Dates and times will be available shortly but if these do not suit you please speak to your child’s key person who will sort a date suitable that will.
